Springs, bars and hanging straps for assisted stretching and strength, one to one in a calm private studio.

In short. The Cadillac, also called the trapeze table, is a padded table with a frame around it, with springs, bars and straps that hang from the overhead frame, used for assisted stretching and strength work, lying or seated. The springs and bars on its frame are why people also call this Tower work. At Sépilates, Sepideh uses the Cadillac in Private 1:1 and Duet 2:1 sessions in Rustington, alongside the Reformer and the Mat. She is certified in Cadillac Pilates, and your first session is £30.
Most people come with one of these on their mind. Here is how the Cadillac helps with each.
Bars, straps and springs hold part of the weight, so you can stretch and lengthen with support.
The springs can add resistance to make muscles work, or support to make a movement easier, so the work is set for you.
It is one to one, with Sepideh's full attention, and you need no experience.
Exercises are adapted to what your body can do today, with guidance from your GP or physiotherapist where needed.
Most sessions mix the Reformer, the Cadillac and the Mat, chosen for your body and goals.

A Cadillac looks like a large frame around a padded table. These are the parts you will see in the studio.
They are closely related: a Tower is a smaller version of the Cadillac.

Because the springs and straps can support you, the Cadillac suits many different people.

They are closely related. A Tower is a smaller version of the Cadillac: a single vertical spring frame, often fixed to a wall. The piece in the Sépilates studio has a padded table, an overhead frame, springs and hanging straps, so Tower style spring work is part of the sessions.
Straps and padded loops hang from the overhead frame, and Sepideh chooses which exercises suit you. You do not need any experience, and every exercise is adapted to what your body can do today.
No. You do not need any experience. Every session is adapted to your body, and the springs and straps can support you.
