Core strength, mobility and control for the sport you play and the days you sit, one to one with no one watching.

In short. Pilates is for men as much as anyone. It was created by a man, Joseph Pilates, and the NHS lists it as a muscle-strengthening activity for adults. At Sépilates it is private, so there is no class to keep up with and no one watching, and each session is built around your goals, whether that is golf, running, cycling, sailing or a stiff back after a desk day.
Most men come with one of these on their mind. Here is how a private session helps with each.
Gentle, controlled mobility and strength work for your spine, hips and core. The NHS advises breaking up long periods of sitting.
Better core control, balance and mobility support the activities you love. Golf asks for rotation, running for stability on one leg, and cycling for long spells folded forward.
It is private. There is no class and no one watching, just you, or you and a mate.
Pilates is low impact and the Reformer springs add resistance, so it works your muscles without the impact.
Every exercise is adapted to what your body can do today, with guidance from your GP or physiotherapist where needed.
You need no experience and no particular flexibility. The NHS says to speak to your GP first if you have not exercised for some time or have a medical condition.
